We are a London-based company who are developing a supply-chain solution for international trade. We have a small team in London that collaborates with a larger team based in Istanbul. Our focus is to deliver a beautiful functional product to our users. These users are any party involved in an international supply chain: importers, exporters, logistics companies, warehouse-keepers, and customs agencies. We are looking to expand our team in London with anyone who is keen to work on agile projects in a growing company. This role would suit someone with an interest in learning how to manage a business and develop some technical skills. The nature of our work means that we value any experience working with Node, React, Typescript, Webpack, Babel, Go, CI/CD pipelines, TDD/BDD, cloud deployments, NoSQL & SQL databases, container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes), and software with a micro-service architecture. That said, there will be opportunities to grow into & shape the role – and familiarity with any of those components is far from a pre-requisite. An interest in blockchain, and familiarity with Hyperledger Fabric (or other blockchain implementations) is desirable – but most of all we are looking for a pro-active colleague who is willing to tackle a wide range of work.
We are recruiting an Operations Associate for our London Office.
Suitable candidates will be able to read and write English with ease and fluency.
You are expected to be motivated, and someone who takes initiative.
You will demonstrate an ability and enthusiasm to learn new things.
We expect someone who is ambitious, and has ideas about how to improve their work, and contribute to the organisation as a whole.
Previous work experience is not necessary – although we’d love to hear about any experience you do have.
This position is open to British nationals, EU nationals, and individuals with Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) in the UK.
Assist with office management tasks (VAT Returns, Expenses, filing deadlines).
Undertake some marketing & networking activities (external events, social media profiles, memberships to professional organisations).
Develop an understanding of the business & develop into a role that fits your preferences, expertise, and ambition.
Interested candidates should send a CV & cover letter by e-mail.
