Role: Full stack developer

Employer: Monaco Solicitors

Location: (with home working)

Type: full time permanent or 4 days per week

Pay: £60k+ depending on experience

From the team that brought you, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference by sharing knowledge, opening up the law to the average person, and bringing legal services up to date using tech. Most people have never used a lawyer (other than perhaps for conveyancing) and we want to change that, ideally on a global scale.

We are working on many ideas including, for example, a dashboard that allows the user to update their case details on an ongoing basis and be presented with next steps, which adapt to match the latest case updates. Next steps could include writing a certain type of legal letter with specific content. Using a freemium model, users could request assistance from a human lawyer at any point.

You’ll be working with a dynamic and forward-thinking startup team, with teamwork and open discussion, especially for problem-solving, and we also really encourage health and wellness and 9-530 working hours.

The product team currently consists of 1 full stack front end dev (Github here), 1 junior dev and 2 designers plus a product owner. To give you a little sneak peek of what you will be building, our app will feature the following:
