Confirmed - The role is still hiring despite coronavirus

We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join the Push Doctor team based in Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual at the start of their career wanting to build the skills of a modern marketer. You will join the Marketing Manager, supporting the creation and delivery of a brand and product focussed set of strategies. You will work dynamically across the function in a fast paced environment helping to execute across a range of deliverables, including, but not exclusive to the below areas. You may currently specialise in one of these areas but not all, but be keen to develop to deliver on the totality of the role and ready to contribute in your strongest areas on day one:

  • Writing engaging copy for various marketing activity such as email, website, in-app and direct mail
  • Organise events both in-house and the organisation of exhibition stands at conferences nationwide, including organisation of speaking slots, logistics and organising attendees
  • Be responsible for marketing support for our partner surgeries, including ordering of print materials, creation of social media assets and other digital assets where required
  • Helping to define the messaging and brand of Push Doctor and the tone of how we communicate to various audiences
  • Engaging in the user research process to understand our customers’ needs, together with the product and medical team
  • Monitoring and reporting on ASO and keeping our app store listings up to date
  • Helping to define marketing objectives and working with the product team to combine skill-sets and ensure the best outcomes
  • Creation of content for website and social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn & Twitter, maintaining regular posting
  • Engaging with users on social media channels and monitoring user feedback 
  • Amending the website and keeping all pages up to date 
  • Looking at data and reporting of marketing activities to ensure the best results
  • Working with design to produce print marketing materials for partners
  • Supporting the Head of HR with internal communications and culture activities
  • Supporting with management of external PR agency
  • Work with account managers to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new partners 

Skills and Experience: 

  • At least a years’ marketing experience, a degree-level qualification or equivalent
  • The ability to understand customer wants, needs and problems
  • Proficiency with email marketing platforms (such as Mailchimp), basic website editors (such as Hubspot), social media management tools (such as Sprout Social or platform specific such as Facebook Business Manager) and Google Analytics 
  • The ability to put users and user insight at the heart of all decisions
  • An excellent communicator (verbally and written), capable of inspiring colleagues and other stakeholders
  • Always eager to learn and to share knowledge
  • Enjoy having fun with your work and being a team player
  • Desire to keep up to date with current affairs relevant to our target market, political landscape, National Health Service structure and changes
