Confirmed - The role is still hiring despite coronavirus

We are Commonly, an early-stage DTC startup building solutions for common problems, not commonly talked about.

Our first target condition is incontinence which affects 8.75 million in the UK and 400 million worldwide. This is a $9.5bn market growing to $15bn by 2025.

Current solutions are diaper-like and product only, failing to take into account emotional and psychological needs. These undignified solutions compound the problem e.g. avoiding social settings due to shame & contributing to the social stigma. We think they deserve better!

And that’s why we're launching our incontinence brand, Provie. As our users have expressed, there’s more to it, emotional and psychological needs are part of the equation.

Our solution encompasses three main areas:

  1. Physical - theirs looks like an oversized nappy, ours looks and feels like normal underwear, thinner, more comfortable and seamless.
  2. Content - providing support, education and advice on the topics that matter and aren’t being answered well right now.
  3. Community - populated with people that are highly engaged. Bringing in experts to stimulate conversation around identified topics.

And by the way, this is just the first stop on the Commonly roadmap. There’s a whole bunch of common problems that we feel we can have a solution to!

We've had raving reviews from our users so far but we recognise we've only just scratched the surface.

Are you looking to be part of something radically different that takes a customer centric approach?

We're looking for a Content Creator to join us as we build up to launch. You should be able to produce written and visual content that educates, inspires and excites our users and attracts new audiences.

In this role, you will be producing content for a variety of distribution channels, including email newsletters, mailing campaigns, blog articles, marketing collateral and press releases. Sometimes we may need you to help with scriptwriting for a new video or to create content for our website and social media. Every day at Commonly is different, and we will challenge you to take initiative.

The ideal candidate is a native English speaker with at least 1 year of experience but, we will consider every applications on its own merits.

We have attracted some amazing talent to our cause and are part of the Zinc Mission 3 accelerator so there's plenty of opportunity to get involved in all different aspects of an early-stage startup! This will be a mutually beneficial role and we are keen to help you get what you want out of our time together.

Please note this is an unpaid role but offers great access to a vast network of supporters and the opportunity to get involved in all areas of an early-stage startup. Both founders are experienced in what they do and place importance on team management. It could lead to a paid role as we are raising funding in the next 3 months.
