The Webgears Group successfully operates international Smart-Shopping Portals that reach more than 5 million users each month. Our goal is to give our users access to vouchers and deals to provide them with inspiration during their shopping process, which is achieved using an intelligent system to pair an extensive list of e-commerce brands on the sites of popular media companies. In addition to the deal communities mydealz and hotukdeals, digital brands such as Bild (DE), Computerbild (DE) and The Daily Beast (US) rank amongst our partners.

 

The Manager, Strategic Partnerships (m/f/d) reports directly to the Head of Partner Management and assumes a key position for the continuing, successful development of our Publisher partners. To number among some of the biggest deal communities and media groups in the world. Therefore, we are looking for a person, who sees confiding relationship management as base for mutual success. Hence, we are searching for a professional, who is motivated to intertwine content with KPI’s from different areas, who is able to recognize synergies and implement them in collaboration with other teams, e.g. SEO, Sales & Project Management. 

 

Your tasks: 

  • Responsibility for TOP partnerships in all collaboration areas
  • Guarantee of adherence of previously agreed service levels through internal processes and quality standards
  • Principal point of contact for partners in all fields of the cooperation
  • Expert and point of contact for all subject areas of the cooperation (SEO, online marketing, advertising, traffic monetization)
  • Continuing identification of changes in the partner performance, deployment of reports and derivation of recommendations for action
  • Guarantee of continuous market as well as competitor overviews
  • Participation in industry events and partner meetings for relationship management and knowledge exchange

 

Your profile: 

  • A successfully completed education in the economic area; Bachelor or Master degree in economics is an advantage
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a similar position or respectively in Account or Project Management
  • Excellent communication skills both in German and in English are a must
  • Open and flexible personality, who can adapt to a fast paced industry easily
  • Analytical and solution oriented manager with high sense of responsibility
  • Operative experience with Affiliate Marketing is desireable
