Krew is on a mission to make finding a fitness professional who meets your exact needs and livestreaming a session with them as easy as finding somethig to watch on Netflix. There are millions of people ready to integrate home workouts and therapeutic exercise into their lives, as well as thousands of professionals struggling due to the effects of the virus, and Krew provides the perfect user experience to connect them both.
We have just launched our website with a directory of fitness coaches, physios and nutritionists, and a space for those pros to offer their sessions, take payments and livestream them (check it out and let us know what you think!), as well as AI-driven features like pose estimation and hear-rate detection from video, and have been accepted into Entrepreneur First - the UK’s leading startup accelerator. As a result, we are now pursuing a new growth strategy which means finding, connecting to and helping as many professionals and their customers as possible. This is where you fit in.
You will be helping us spread the word by creating relationships with the media, directing our content creators to produce relevant thought leadership, crafting effective messaging that resonates with those who experience the problem we’re working on solving, and then helping get this message out to those who need to hear it. We're looking for someone that can really give a voice to Krew and help us stand out as an empowering signal among all the noise.
This is a hands-on role with high levels of ownership and responsibility. The opportunity is there to make it your own, and we’d absolutely encourage you to. We’re still at an early stage, and we don’t know it all. We’re looking for that special person that can leave their own beautiful mark on our brand.
What you'll be doing:
- Working directly with our CEO Jose to craft and ideate our message
- Creating and maintaining relationships with the media
- Designing and executing on our PR strategy
Our culture and voice are our most powerful assets, meaning you need to be someone who’s passionate about fitness, health and helping independent pros. Integrity, openness and an honest spirit are fundamental to our message and these would need to be reflected in the work you would be doing.
Your key personal qualities:
- Self-motivation, able to work independently and in a team.
- An empathetic approach to listening and understanding - confidentiality is expected.
- Ambition and confidence to build something that truly has an impact on people’s everyday lives
- Experience with journalism
- Experience with PR
- Experience with press outreach
- Experience with content writing and editing
