We have a unique opportunity to join the founding team of a exciting fashion tech start-up on a mission to make fashion more sustainable.  Styleswap is a new pre-loved fashion network featuring the killer wardrobes of inspirational and stylish women.  It promotes the buying and selling of premium fashion within a social community.

We are one of the the top start-ups chosen to graduate from the world’s largest pre-seed tech accelerator programme, Founder Institute.  We are working on the first release of the platform which will be ready this summer.  Pre-launch we need to build up a bank of content focused around the brand, engaging fashion forward content, fashion tech start up start up life, community and influencers.

We’re looking for a talented content creator and creative social media guru with an ability to write great copy, and a serious passion for fashion and sustainability. 

Working for this fast-paced, exciting tech start-up, you’ll be helping to shape the social media 
strategy for Styleswap. Reporting to the Founder, you’ll have the chance to make a huge impact
on new customer growth and brand recognition through the development and implementation of a social media plan.

The position is part time and completely remote.  

The role

- Instagram/ Facebook content creation, planning, posts and stories 
- Sourcing content, writing copy, effective hashtags, feed layout, posting, scheduling content
- Blog/ Newsletters/ LinkedIn write 1-2 pieces of longer form content a week
- Create consistent content across all channels in line with our overall brand


  • Build brand awareness
  • Grow our community and engagement 
  • Grow new account and newsletter sign ups
  • Grow traffic to website
  • Grow Instagram/ FB following 
  • Recruit sellers

Essential skills

  • Strong written communication skills, a native level of English, impeccable spelling and  grammar
  • Digital design skills/ layout skills
  • Excellent understanding of the digital environment - Instagram/ Facebook
  • Good awareness of fashion, influencers, trend-setters, new messaging 
  • A great curiosity, a lot of energy, solutions driven
  • Must be a innovative, a self-starter, content working Independently and as part of a team

Additional skills

  • Knowledge of paid social ads, Google PPC and Google Analytics is a bonus
  • Basic knowledge of Google Analytics, AdWords and FB Manager is a bonus, not essential 
This role is also a great opportunity for content writers or social media execs that have been furloughed who are passionate about fashion and sustainability and want to be part of an agile start-up team making a positive impact on the fashion industry.  This is an unpaid role to start with but paid part-time or full-time opportunities are possible product launch.
