In this role you will support the smooth running of not only the tech teams, but our entire virtual head office and warehouses (Enfield and Bristol you will be based in Bristol) . You will be the go-to resource for desktop troubleshooting, technical support and system set-up. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior IT Support Engineer to gain experience in a fast growing startup that is technology driven and helping to make a real change in the world by connecting customers directly with the farmers and suppliers of their produce!
This role is based at our Enfield warehouse (not in London).
Respond to all IT problems in a friendly and supportive manner
Maintenance of workstations and laptops (MacOS & Windows) and all other related hardware
Maintenance and deployment of Android phones and tables for our warehouse.
Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
Providing internal support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports for onboarding new staff
Take ownership of software implementation, licensing, asset tracking and updates
Responsibility for setting up and managing the hardware and for Tech team stand-ups every morning
Management of users/groups, permissions, file sharing and network security
Ad hoc tasks dependent on the needs of the business
2-4 years professional experience as an IT Administrator or similar support role
Passion for IT and technology in general
Knowledge of Apple MacOS and Windows
Android device management (used in the warehouses and for delivery drivers)
