As part of our ambitious online growth plans, we’re looking for a driven E-Commerce Marketing Manager to join the team.


Love Cocoa is an exciting luxury chocolate start-up, the brainchild of James Cadbury, great-great-great-grandson of the Cadbury founder, John Cadbury. Love Cocoa aims to make British chocolate great again, reinventing chocolate classics with a contemporary touch. We're also planting 1 tree for every product sold next year, working directly with cocoa farmers to help combat deforestation and climate change.



Online Marketing

  • Manage Facebook ads, coming up with the creative for the ads, testing different creatives and ensuring a high ROAS
  • Check FB ads on a daily basis, tweaking where necessary to and monitoring ads ROAS.
  • Manage Amazon account: Optimize listings and brand content so we’re as competitive as possible. Add new products to Amazon, and other EU marketplaces.
  • Manage the ad account on Amazon, keeping ROAS on target and assessing keywords to target.
  • Manage Google ads, optimising current listing.
  • Working with affiliate partners to increase sales and reduce CPA.
  • Managing email marketing, driving consumers to sign-up and converting them to paid customers. 
  • Manage the online promotion and loyalty programme. 
  • Build customer lifetime value by understanding and segmenting database and targeting with appropriate offers.


Managing website

  • Constantly monitor our e-commerce website (Shopify), ensuring a good user experience and product offering.
  • Manage the logistics of our website and Amazon, making sure products are always in stock at Amazon and e-commerce warehouse.
  • Checking website to ensure high-profit margin products feature higher up on the website and coming up with new products for the website e.g personalisation, hampers
  • Manage our Virtual Assistant who deals with customer service enquiries and look for solution to reduce these e.g. via chatbots, improved delivery service.
  • Monitor other e-commerce marketplaces such as NotOnTheHighSt and Yumbles.



  • Previous experience in creating and monitoring FB ads (1 year + can be via a company or own company side project)
  • Previous experience with managing an Amazon account is preferred.
  • Highly analytical, data and performance-driven
  • Familiar with Photoshop
  • Demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to coordinate between different parties
  • Entrepreneurial way of thinking - excited by fast-paced startup
  • Knowledge of Shopify (bonus)
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Good Maths and capable of using Excel
  • Excellent writing & verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Shopify (bonus)
