We’re looking for a Growth Intern to join our team for 3-6 months to work on an exciting variety of company projects. While some of these projects will involve supporting the founders, you will also be expected to take ownership over aspects of the business that you are assigned. This position is paid, and successful interns will be considered for a full time role - including a competitive salary and vesting shares in the company - at the end of their internship.
Tenner is an early stage startup based in London, building the next generation of second-screen entertainment.
We run free-to-play sports prediction games through our own iOS and Android mobile apps, and also license out the Tenner technology platform to sports organisations to help them engage and acquire their own fans.
The company was founded in January 2019 as part of the IMG Greenhouse program and has since closed two rounds of funding. Over the next few months we're looking to scale both our own user base and our corporate partnerships, accelerating our growth as live sport returns following the coronavirus pandemic.
- Platform / Game Management: You will run prediction games for live sporting events, creating questions and possible answers, setting up push notifications, processing results and paying out prize money to winners.
- Customer Development: You will be responsible for collecting both qualitative and quantitative customers feedback to help guide future product development. This will include one-to-one interviews with existing customers as well as more broad analysis of user behaviour and activity.
- Customer Growth: You will support the management of our paid and organic customer acquisition channels. You will be encouraged to devise and implement new acquisition strategies yourself.
- Partnerships: You will support ongoing partnership conversions we are holding with a wide variety of sports organisations. This may include industry research, managing outreach and creating explanatory materials.
Given the speed at which the company is growing and evolving, these responsibilities will not be set in stone. Jobs at any early stage startup typically fit the stereotype - you should be comfortable working on an ever-changing list of projects and keen to get involved wherever required.
After your first 3 months at the company, you will be able to request to work in areas of the business that you have not yet had any exposure to.
