The Idea

We at Insuroo are looking to change the financial services landscape, we have planned out a 3-year strategy taking us from MVP to exit stage. Targeting pain points within each stage of the advice process for both B2C and B2B strategies.  

The role

We are seeking a Co-Founder Chief Technology Officer, with a mix of remote working and a workspace in Shoreditch 1-2 days a week. Until we are in a position to set up a permanent workspace. (forecast for early 2021)

  • The CTO will be chiefly responsible for building and leading efforts to build an MVP of the platform. Including, but not limited to leading discussions, and presenting on the technical aspects of our business.
  • The CTO will be responsible, with me, in hiring and recruiting developers, including identifying particular needs of the business in terms of who we bring on board.
  • The CTO will be comfortable with being hands-on, in development and coding.
  • The CTO will also be comfortable and willing to accept responsibility, as required by senior management.
  • The CTO will also be comfortable with c-level discussions and boardroom level meetings with our fellow founders & board of directors, including any partners that the business comes into discussions with.

The Chief Technology Officer will be:

  1. Experienced with full-stack development skills
  2. Experienced in software engineering
  3. Experienced with Data & database creation
  4. Experienced with API integrations & development
  5. Experienced with building complex mobile and web solutions from scratch.
  6. Experienced in Project Management
  7. Experienced with hiring and leading teams of people in a technology environment.
  8. Experienced with Origo standards would be a bonus…
  9. Able and willing to go the extra mile, in building the future.

In conclusion, the start-up is currently in the early stages. We have Validated the business plan, confirmed market demand & revenue channels, negotiated providers & attained the required licenses
