At Zazuu, we believe you should decide what’s best, not the other way around. We’re building a new type of money remittance company, the type that is fair, puts you in control, and saves you money on each transfer.

We’re launching our mobile app next week and looking for a smart, friendly and passionate social media and community development intern to help us engage and build a community of people who believe in our core values.


  • Create, edit and schedule engaging content across all social media platforms
  • Monitor online content posted by others on our social media platforms and respond in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • You’ll be creating social content and engaging on our socials
  • Identify opportunities to engage new audiences, potentially with targeted content.
  • Help develop, maintain and execute a social media content calendar across platforms to grow community engagement, awareness, and adoption.
  • Working with our product manager and developers to collect and implement customer feedback.
  • Communicating new updates to the community.


  • You have a real passion for social media engagement, digital communities and digital marketing.
  • You’re creative and in line with our vision and values.
  • You have a track record of building communities across multiple social media channels
  • You have a strong interest in tech, fintech, startups & Africa.

  • Ready to start immediately


  • Exceptional language and written communication skills 
  • Great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online
  • Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics
  • Proven ability to work in a team and to be self-efficient.
  • Technical skills to manage social media and community engagement tools


  • Paid 3 months internship experience with the possibility of joining the team full-time.
  • Solid experience developing a loyal and engaged customer base
