  • We are seeking to hire an e-commerce specialist, as Head of Product, to manage www.pastaevangelists.com

Your Profile

  • You have been working in ecommerce for a number of years, with experience in website optimisation and driving retention
  • Ideally you have worked in a consumer-facing digital business, that have subscription & retention at its core.
  • You are analytical, data-driven, and use off-the-shelf tools to measure website performance
  • You are able to both manage external development teams, as well as make changes yourself.
  • You understand best-in-class online ecommerce practices. having worked in the space for a number of years
  • You are comfortable ''working in the grey'' - as a growth startup, sometimes we're a little bit rough around the edges or don't yet have the right system, solution or process in place: you see this as an opportunity, and have a positive, solutions-focussed outlook. Where plan A fails, you've already thought about a plan B  

What you will do

  • Reporting to the CEO and working closely with our CTO and CMO to make our ecommerce experience best-in-class.
  • Creation and adoption of a website vision & strategy. Embedding methodology for cross-functional project prioritisation. Ongoing management of a prioritised product backlog of user stories
  • You will be responsible for two main KPIs of the business - Conversion Rates and Retention, as well as monitoring of other cross-business metrics & KPIs (CAC, AOV, conversion, churn/retention, LTV, CS contact time/reasons for contact etc.). Projects initiated and success criteria driven by these metrics. Leadership discussion on OKRs for first 100 days
  • You will be focussed on funnel and CVR optimisation - customer journey audit and recommendations split between quick wins and longer-term goals based on feasibility and value (to feed into product roadmap) - New customer journeys, subscription/account management, CRM, cancellation flow, cancelled/paused customer journey, customer services, delivery, etc.
  • Definition of long term ecom platform strategy - in-house devs, hybrid or outsourced model. Evaluation and proposal on how to proceed, and subsequent managemen
  • Improve page speeds & performance, particularly on mobile
  • Analysis of customer cohorts/segments and creation of user personas
  • Analysis of drop-off data by page device/geography/browser/demographics using analytics tool, and implement changes to optimise
  • Subscription management UI & Cancellation flow and root cause analysis
  • Personalised CRM based on subscription, order history and business logic
