Popsa is looking for a Customer Acquisition Executive for our Soho HQ in London.

About Us

Founded in 2016 at Popsa we help people relive and share their experiences by making their best photos accessible again. Millions of people have vast collections of photos on their phones but they hardly ever explore them.

Starting with print, but then going beyond, our goal is to help people tell and share the story of their life irrespective of their eye for design or their technical abilities.

We are developing applied Machine Learning pipelines to automatically select sentimental photos, filter out inappropriate content, and design them into beautiful products such as photobooks and journals, without investing time or effort.

Our approach has already reduced a multi-hour process with the market incumbents, to an average of just a few minutes in our mobile apps.

But we want to go much further. Our plan is to cut the time required to zero. This potentially monetises vast amounts of previously unaccessible user-content for the first time, and will allow us to start offering smart subscription services that automatically catalog the best bits of your life. 

We currently operate in 12 languages and ship to 50 countries around the world, and our rapid growth has successfully helped us secure £7million in investment that will see us grow to 50+ people with a worldwide reach by the end of 2020.

The Role

Popsa is the publisher of your life stories, so the personalised products we create have huge emotional attachment. They are made for 50th birthday parties, to capture a new baby’s first year, or a fitting way to remember the holiday of a lifetime. Life’s great milestones, shared celebrations, but also the smaller moments in life.

As Customer Acquisition Executive, this gives you an exciting opportunity to help shape our marketing campaigns across a wide variety of channels, countries, audiences, products and occasions.  We are looking for someone to join that has a passion for digital marketing and enjoys working with data to help accelerate our growth across Europe and the US.

You will be a key member of the marketing team with your core responsibility to acquire customers cost-effectively. It is a highly analytical role, yet you will also work closely with the Creative team on a daily basis to use the insights you gain from campaigns to deliver better outcomes. 

You will have experience with at least one of Facebook or Google ads products, so will bring a core specialism to the team, yet you will be opened up to work across channels. 

Your daily responsibilities could include...

  • Creating and deploying campaigns that persuades people that Popsa is the best place to record and print their life memories. 
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting to ensure we are in line with KPIs and hitting our growth targets.
  • Create hypotheses and test them across campaigns and creatives on a regular basis. 
  • Propose and implement strategies for increasing conversion rate, ARPPU and LTV. 
  • Share marketing campaign insights with the whole team at weekly marketing and growth meetings.
  • Working with CRM, social media and designers to develop cross channel campaigns that cut through the noise. 
  • Creating audience segments and retention campaigns to support lifecycle and promotions.

Experience

  • 2-3 years experience at managing paid media campaigns for a mobile app or eCommerce business. Client or agency side experience will be considered. 
  • A strong understanding of at least one of Facebook or Google marketing products and have examples to show of the results you have driven.  
  • Expert with Excel, Google sheets and/or other data analysis tools. 

Advantage

  • Experience using analytics products such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel. 
  • Experience in managing multi-geo and multi-language campaigns.
