What do we want? Product Manager. When do we want you? Now!

As a Product Manager at DrDoctor you are responsible for translating our product vision into reality, working with our designers and software engineers to turn ideas into outcomes.

You will develop and drive a product roadmap, making sure your team has all the context and insight they need to deliver great features. Understanding user needs and solving customer problems in ways that work for the business are what you love to do - you thrive from having a deep knowledge of our users, our customers, and the complex and dynamic field that we work in.

You will collaborate with your fellow product managers to make sure the wider vision is coming together, and stay close to other teams in the business to make sure the products you develop work for everyone. This includes assisting in the creation of pricing models and product launch material.

You will leverage a variety of techniques for effective discovery and delivery, including things like user interviews, data analysis, roadmap prioritisation, writing user stories and supporting the engineering team during the delivery process.

You will get feedback, set metrics and track the success (or otherwise!) of the products you have helped bring to life, and then iterate on that feedback.

DrDoctor is a fast-growing digital health company founded in 2012. Our technology improves appointment scheduling, increases clinic efficiency by reducing no-shows and fills empty slots. We save the NHS millions of pounds each year and are currently deployed across 22 major hospitals around the UK including Guy’s and St Thomas’ & Great Ormond Street. With over 7 million patients active on the platform already, we’re on a journey to deliver the tools to radically transform the delivery of health services to make healthcare work for everyone – for patients, doctors, administrative teams and tax payers.

Tell me more! Who will I be working with?

'Hi, I'm Anup, and I've been at DrDoctor for 4 years. I joined when there were just 6 people. Its been an amazing experience so far. Everyone is super friendly, helpful and open, right from the top down. The work is great; it is something that has a real impact on people's lives and the NHS. And you are not pigeon-holed into one area; I find myself involved in anything from how we self-organise, how our systems are architected to how we implement our front ends and influencing design and usability. Everyone is passionate about what they do, and as long as you have a get up and go attitude and are self-motivated, you can get involved in pretty much everything.'

OK, I’m interested. What experience do I need to have?
  • Professional product management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable talking to individual users, demanding customers, and senior stakeholders
  • Understand how to measure and analyse product performance
  • Analyse and interpret data using tools like Power BI, Excel, Splunk, SQL or similar
  • Developing strong user stories including clear acceptance criteria
  • Proven ability to say “no” and keep product development focused
  • Great collaborator, able to bring a team of developers & designers along with you
Nice to haves:
  • Experience in health tech
  • Clinical background
  • Experience with wireframing tools like Balsamiq or Figma
