Mimica now has an opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented lab intern to join our R&D team, starting in November for 3 months, to support various food waste-reduction projects with customers.
At Mimica, we aim to radically reduce unnecessary waste by creating a new standard for freshness information with our product, Mimica Touch, that tells you exactly when to consume food, according to the real temperature conditions it has experienced. It will provide more accurate information than the wasteful expiry dates based on worst case scenarios. We are preparing to launch our first product in the market with industry partners and are looking for someone to join our small lab team at the University of Chester, our collaboration partner, to help us take our critical first steps into the market.
We’re looking for somebody creative, passionate about sustainability, making a difference to food waste and food safety and who wants to take on responsibility - essential to being in a small team.
