An opportunity to work on tools to help our development team do better work, more efficiently.
Planes is a digital product studio, started by two friends who liked making great products together. Taking our various experiences building and growing startups we have built a studio that is helping all sorts of people, from international fin-tech providers, launch new apps to startups building their MVPs. A nimble team, we work collaboratively to produce work that we are proud of and our clients love. Currently, we are a team of around 20 working across 3 different client projects.
We are on the search for a developer interested in building developer tools to help build software more efficiently at scale. We work on a wide range of projects for small and large businesses looking to work in a modern way; using modern technology and modern processes. The technology we use across these projects has similarities in such a way that we are able to optimise their efficiency by building tools and processes of our own. We are already working with a core tool of our own and the maintenance and feature list of this is growing longer than we can currently manage. That's where you come in - you'll be working alongside the various teams to help improve their workflows working on projects.
The ideal candidate would have experience with the following:
Any CI platform
Open Sourced work
You will work closely with Henry (Tech Lead) who has been managing the DevOps and tooling to-date.
If you are interested, please send us through your CV/portfolio/GitHub/side projects along with a short cover letter about who you are and what you are into.
