Security Analyst
As Security Analyst you will be a key player in enabling Gousto to deliver its Security Strategy and maintaining its Information Security Management System, in alignment with ISO 27001.

It is important that we adopt a big picture perspective to ensure that security practices are sustainable and will scale as the business and threat landscape changes.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a big impact by elevating our current security maturity to the next level.
The role will report into the Information Security Manager, sitting in our fast growing Operational Systems team. You will be working with a team across our business to implement and maintain security best practices.
To be successful in this role, you will be a natural problem solver with a passion for security. We’re looking for someone with a strong combination of security and business knowledge to be able to frame security in terms of business impact, paired with technical and project management skills to lead and deliver improvements.What you’ll do (job tasks and responsibilities)
- Drive the further development and management of our security threat monitoring capabilities, working closely with our IT team, Software Engineers and SOC
- Lead the timely response to security incidents and events, ensuring they are appropriately escalated, assessed and thoroughly managed
- Be central to designing and coordinating the delivery of security improvements, working in cross-functional teams
- Maintain and further embed our security policies, principles and standards to foster our security culture and ensure it is always front of mind
- Develop and continuously monitor a set of KPIs that depict the state of security and bring to light any opportunities to improve security
Requirements

- You have the ability to prioritise and execute against critical deliverables, coupled with a sense of personal ownership for delivery
- You are a high-energy self-starter with a passion for security, attention to detail, and a positive attitude
- You want to make a big impact and have the initiative and confidence to do so
Skills & Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in security with the ability to leverage your expertise to bring a fresh perspective to security at Gousto
- A university degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Mathematics, Information Systems, Computer Science) is desirable but not required if you have sufficient experience or other technical knowledge
- Excellent problem solver able to root cause security issues, identify issues/opportunities, design and implement pragmatic solutions
- You have great communication skills, whether to your team, to business stakeholders or to our leadership team
- Working knowledge of ISO 27001
- Working knowledge of GDPR is desirable but not required if you have a willingness to learn
- Knowledge of security in Software Engineering is highly desirable but not required
