    About the Role

    We’re looking for an experienced B2B Marketing professional to join the VeryConnect team. You will be responsible for implementing the strategy and execution of campaigns that increase leads, drive sales and improve customer engagement. This will involve developing relevant marketing campaigns, ensuring a strong digital presence, creating marketing plans and reporting on key metrics.

    You will work closely with our CEO collaborating with Customer Success, Engineering and Business Support teams to implement growth, activation, engagement and retention strategies across the business. You will be responsible for day to day execution, so you need to be willing to be hands on and get stuck in with trying new things and experimenting!

     

    About you

    Our ideal candidate is an adaptable and proactive general marketer with an eye for design and someone who can clearly communicate and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders. You’re a motivated individual that’s used to a startup environment, you have a passion for technology and are excited to play a fundamental role in VeryConnect’s growth.

     

    You will:

    • Support shaping and implementing the marketing strategy for VeryConnect to increase leads into the business
    • Effectively monitor and report use of the marketing budget
    • Manage and maintain the VeryConnect Website and its content
    • Manage paid ad campaigns
    • Create content for websites, email marketing, thought leadership, social media, and digital marketing campaigns
    • Develop and manage marketing automation campaigns to increase conversion
    • Organise and implement attendance at conferences and networking events
    • Liaise with our customers to develop case studies and testimonials
    • Regularly carry out competitor analysis and report findings to management
    • Track, monitor and report on monthly activity, conversion metrics and  KPIs
    • Work closely with the CEO to understand the strategic direction of the company and discuss relevant opportunities from across the business
    • Provide marketing insights and advice for our customers during the build of their membership platforms



    Required from you:

    • 3+ years’ experience in B2B marketing. Experience working in software/tech and SaaS would be a plus (The right attitude is more important than experience, so if you feel you are the right person, let us know why)
    • Adaptable and proactive, comfortable with a hands-on approach to marketing
    • Enthusiastic and creative, with the ability to engage customers and inspire others
    • Experience of utilising tools across the marketing tech stack including CRM systems, SEO/SEM tools, Google Analytics, Wordpress, Squarespace, Canva, Capterra, etc
    • Technical aptitude and ability/willingness to learn the latest software tools, products, platforms and services
    • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks across multiple projects.
    • Right to live and work in the UK

     

    What we offer

    • Salary of £32,000 - £38,000 depending on experience

    The Logistics

    Our office is located just inside Glasgow’s West End near Charing Cross where our team come to work together. We ask that you are in the office 5 days per week as this is the quickest way to get up to speed with the company and who we are.
