If you're anything like me then spending even a few minutes in this icy weather will have you blowing your nose and sipping on cough syrup in no time. Throw in a Christmas do and BAM - you're bedridden for a week.

Now, if you're a part of the unlucky lot who caught the post-Christmas-party flu then fear not! Below, I've compiled a list of startups that might just help you out while you recover.

Let's take a closer look.

PACK'D

When you're feeling poorly, it's important that you're taking in as many vitamins and minerals as possible. And what better way to do that than to drink a healthy smoothie!? Using the best plant-based ingredients and carefully selected superfood blends, PACK'D delivers their delicious creations right to your door.

Kinsa

Kinsa is by far one of the best medical apps you'll find. You can take notes on the app to track how you've been feeling plus set reminders for any medication you may need to take. The app even has its own thermometer that you can set up to keep track of your temperature throughout your flu. Although the app is brilliant, please remember that it's not a replacement for an ACTUAL doctor. If your flu gets worse, always consult a professional.

Snuggz

Nothing beats snuggling up in a warm blanket and watching your favourite TV show or film, especially when you're feeling under the weather. Snuggz is here to provide you with a wearable blanket designed with the upmost comfort in mind. Not only are these blanket hoodies a great thing to have when sick, they'd also make fantastic Christmas presents!

That's all for this week, folks. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas this weekend and, if you're feeling poorly, a speedy recovery.
