Intern - Data Management at Primary Portal

About you:

You have a keen eye for detail. 

 You have some experience using Excel and PowerPoint, and above all, you have an aptitude to working with new software. 

 We are looking for an ambitious and highly motivated graduate, who enjoys being part of a dynamic team helping drive the future of equity capital markets.  Your core responsibilities will include support of the day-to-day running of our offering helping to manage deal flow; preparing data extracts, support the onboarding of new clients and follow-up with client interactions.  Our top goal is to provide our users with a great experience, so we all test everything we do rigorously.  

We are a young start-up where all members of the team are involved in multiple roles – that means you can explore many different aspects of the company and discover the areas you most enjoy developing your talents.   

In this role, you will:

• Gain in-depth knowledge of Equity Capital Markets (ECM) globally. 
• Have exposure to top tier financial institutions, both on the Buy Side and Sell Side 
• Receive extensive training on all of our software across all verticals. 
• Research information around Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), and other equity offerings. 
• Test new code against specifications before it is released to clients.  
• Learn how to query databases, extract information and convert it into business analysis.
• Interact daily with the full company including management.
• Experience first-hand the growth of a FinTech company.

Duration and pay:

• 3-4 months internship (we can be flexible)
• London office based (Marylebone / Baker Street station)
• Paid internship at entry level
