    To start with, we have built a unique Access-All-Areas (AAA) digital pass that is integrated into the Apple or Google wallet to increase loyalty and unlock rewards such as discounts, early access to tickets and more.As a DevOps focused Backend Engineer, you'll play a crucial role at the intersection of the operational and product development teams. Your hands-on expertise in TypeScript and AWS will be instrumental in engineering improvements and optimising our platform's backbone for robustness, resilience, and scalability. You'll bridge the gap between teams, ensuring seamless communication and integration of high-performance and scalability considerations into our evolving system. We are looking for candidates with around 5 years experience.

    🚀 What will you do?

    • Site Reliability: Manage AWS configurations and infrastructure using Terraform, performing scalability testing and proactively addressing system health issues to ensure continuous, reliable service.

    • Hands on Engineering: Utilise your expertise in TypeScript and SQL to implement and optimise backend processes, ensuring our platform's performance is second to none.

    • Data Handling: Support the operational team by running SQL queries to provide fan segments, ensuring they have the precise information needed to make strategic decisions.

    • Ticketing Operational Support: Oversee our ticketing system's setup and monitoring, leveraging your SQL/PostgreSQL skills to guarantee a seamless experience.

    • Collaborative Optimisation: Work closely with the product development team to embed scalability and performance considerations into our product roadmap.

    • Key Moments: Provide critical support during launches, ensuring our infrastructure is prepared to handle high traffic and deliver a flawless user experience.

    You are someone who

    • Experienced in DevOps or backend engineering with a solid understanding of site reliability principles.

    • Proficient in TypeScript, AWS, Terraform, and SQL/PostgreSQL.

    • A problem-solver with a keen eye for system optimisation and scalability testing.

    • Excellent communicator, capable of collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

    • Able to perform under pressure, ensuring the success of crucial product launches and events.
