Remote Bob started as an ordinary virtual assistance agency. Barbara Maheshwari, the founder of Remote Bob, worked in consulting before she started this company. While working closely with entrepreneurs, she noticed that many of them were struggling to find a good virtual assistant.



Completely bootstrapped, the company has generated over 600,000 euros of revenue so far, has received over 100 five-star reviews from satisfied clients on Trustpilot, and was listed as one of the top 25 fastest-growing virtual assistant agencies in the UK by Outsource Accelerator. In 2023, the company additionally launched an education course, "Become a VA," priced at 400 euros, and sold 63 tickets as part of a pilot project.


The ambitious team is working on creating a brand that will be a global synonym for high-quality VA support. Currently, there are 3 full-time internal team members, and around 40 virtual assistants in the team.



Who are we seeking for?

We are seeking an entrepreneurial Barrister who would represent our company in several court cases based on equity/share in the company. Cases are mainly related to non-compete clauses and debt collection.

Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Barrister to provide legal advice and representation to us. The Barrister will be responsible for appearing in courts, providing advice on commercial law, conducting fraud investigations, and managing legal disputes, among other tasks.


Qualifications

Expertise in Law, Labor and Employment Law, and Fraud Investigations
Ability to provide legal advice and representation to clients
Experience in appearing in courts and managing legal disputes
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Qualified Barrister who is registered with the Bar Council of England and Wales
Experience with international law is a plus
