We are a boutique rum company, called Pirate's Grog Rum, based in Tottenham, North London, looking for an Ecommerce and Social Media Assistant to help manage our Shopify website and social accounts including Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok and Pinterest. 

This role would be 2-3 days per day (to be discussed) and can be carried out remotely or from our HQ in North London. 

Tasks will include: 

- Creating new product listings on Shopify

- Researching and managing Shopify plug ins to increase sales, customer retention etc

- Writing and uploading blog posts on the website once per week

- Posting live and scheduling content across Instagram, Tik Tok and Pinterest

- Liaising with influencers and UGC creators to collect a range of diverse content to promote

- Aiding with the planning of photo and video shoots

- Basic content creation such as gifs, reels and graphics via Canva or Photoshop

- Strategic ideas to grow followers and our email database such as competitions, refer a friend campaign, brand collabs, etc. 

- Write and distribute press releases (and build on our current database of industry and lifestyle publications)

The right candidate will have excellent written English, at least 3 years experience running social accounts for other brands, a good understanding of how Shopify works, and lots of energy and ideas to bring to the table.
