JOB SUMMARY

Big Atom is looking for a social media manager to help with running our social media across all our channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn). This role is a part-time role that would require ~16 hours/week.

The role will be remote, but travel to our site in Ellesmere Port will be required around once a month for capturing content, so a Northwest local is preferred (e.g. Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, etc).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide key support to Marketing leads by developing and executing marketing initiatives focussed on brand building and driving sales
• Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Big Atom's overall business objectives and brand identity.
• Manage all social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook and scheduling all posts across channels
• Create engaging and original content tailored for each platform to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads.
• Organise photo shoots; going to site on a monthly basis to capture video and photo content to use across channels
• Monitor and analyse social media performance metrics, providing regular insights and reports to inform strategy
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices
• Community management of social media channels; respond to comments, messages, and inquiries
• Maintain a consistent brand visuals and tone of voice across all social media channels, ensuring alignment with Big Atom's values and messaging
• Create eye-catching banners and other promotional images for special projects
• Website management

REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree
• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar marketing role, with a track record of successfully executing social media strategies
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools, including good grasp of Instagram reels
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent content creation skills, including video content
• Good design skills and creative mindset with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and storytelling
• Detail-oriented and organised
