    The Role

    We’re now expanding our team with a BD Manager to be part of our exciting journey ahead.
    Currently working with over 500 food companies across more than 15 countries, we are on a
    mission to build great products that make climate impact a top priority for the food industry.

    As a Business Development Manager at Klimato you will work within our Sales team to help
    us grow our customer base and develop new partnerships. Your role at Klimato will involve you
    working within our existing framework to prospect new clients, handle customer outreach and be
    responsible for certain markets and segments. For this specific role we anticipate you splitting
    your outreach in EMEA with the ability to speak one of French, German or Arabic.

    These are just some of the tasks you might fill your days with:

    • Identifying, researching, and contacting leads
    • Reach (& exceed) individual sales targets
    • Generate the required number of leads through cold and warm outreach
    • Lead sales meetings with prospects and clients
    • Ensure all administration is in line with company policy & procedure (Hubspot)
    • Customer and market research
    • Lead List generation

    What we are looking for

    • Fluent in English and one of the following: Arabic, French, or German
    • You’re a people-person - you love talking to and interacting with people and you’re
      naturally good at building trusting long-term relationships
    • A track record of hitting sales targets preferably within SaaS sales
    • Natural organisational & prioritisation skills; a pro-active ‘game-planner’
    • Experience of using a CRM platform preferably Hubspot
    • We believe actions speak louder than words and we would love to see you take the
      initiative on new ideas
    • A positive and proactive can-do attitude
    • Confident on the telephone, as well as face-to-face
    • Passionate about our mission to fight climate change and reduce the climate impact from
      food
    • High energy levels - ‘sales hungry’ - with an upbeat & positive outlook

    The practical stuff
    We’re looking for someone to join us full-time in London starting as soon as possible.

    • Salary: Base £30,000 - £40,000 with generous comission 
    • Holidays: 30 days + bank holidays

    1.  Interview with Will (CSO) (30 minutes)
    2. Presentation task with Will + another member of the Commercial Team (1 hour tasked
      based interview)
