About the role

We are currently looking for an Accountant to join our high performing team to maintain high productivity.

What you'll be doing: 

  1. Ensuring that all accounting records and information on file are kept up-to-date
  2. Performing daily itemisation of accounting transactions on Xero system
  3. Daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations of accounting ledgers
  4. Run and manage monthly payroll and payroll reconciliations (include PAYE and Pension)
  5. Work with accountants in other countries to produce consolidated management account
  6. Quarterly VAT returns, final account and corporate tax preparation and submissions
  7. Liaising with external consultant for R&D claim
  8. Assistance with budgeting and tracking
  9. Assistance with fund raising
  10. Ad hoc projects

 

Requirements: 

  1. Qualified accountant (CPA/ACCA or equivalent)
  2. Prefer 5-10 years of relevant accounting experience
  3. Highly proficient in Xero system
  4. Solid understanding of UK accounting standards and tax regulations
  5. Extensive knowledge of reporting and Excel
  6. Good understanding of Power BI and Spotlight
  7. Able to demonstrate practical experience in the production of monthly management accounts and VAT returns
  8. Ability to work with large data and processes with a keen attention to detail
  9. Ability to troubleshoot and respond to problems and non-routine event
  10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  11. Excellent organization and planning skill
  12. A strong commitment to ethical behavior
  13. Previous relevant work experience at SaaS companies
  14. Preferred international experience

Salary Range:  £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

Location: London, UK (Hybrid, 2 days in office)
