About the role:

Okay, we’ve waffled long enough. So let’s get to the good bit: You.

As maternity cover for the Marketing Operations Lead, you will oversee and ensure the accurate delivery of all marketing campaigns; from new product launches to business-as-usual activity. This role is essential in supporting the Global Brand and Local Market teams, and is responsible for forecasting, budgeting, project managing and ensuring all stakeholders are joined up with the execution and delivery of initiatives.

This is an integral role within the organisation and will explore further opportunities to drive smarter efficiencies through marketing tools and platforms. You will have a strong eye for detail and understand the importance of maintaining process with written documentation. You will also have excellent planning and prioritisation skills, and have prior experience in managing multiple stakeholders both internally and externally to support business objectives. Alongside this you will be a strong networker with excellent interpersonal skills, with experience managing multiple projects at any one time.

Location: Hybrid working; a mix of working from our London or Bristol office & working remotely

Employment type: Fixed Term Contract - 12 months (please note, you must have the right to work in the UK)

Requirements

What you’ll be doing at Elvie:

  • Manage and lead the Central Marketing Operations function forming part of the Global Brand team
  • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers whilst driving operational efficiency with quarterly reporting (Frontify, Smartling, Sandberg and Weglot)
  • Ensure projects are delivered in scope, on time and within budget. Develop and deliver status reports in presentations to analyse, forecast and troubleshoot problem areas where necessary
  • Work closely with teams across the business to facilitate the end to end creation and delivery of campaigns, across Creative, Web and Brand, to make sure forecasts are planned holistically and aligned with relevant stakeholders
  • Determine appropriate governance that are aligned with operational requirements to produce and execute project timelines
  • Be the primary point of contact for queries providing a very high level of service in this capacity
  • Line manage a Marketing Operations Executive to support coordination of projects, transcreation, interrogate briefs and identify areas that need to pivot
  • Generate forecasting reports with foresight of potential challenges and come up with informed, fact-based solutions to mitigate potential bottlenecks
  • Manage and oversee the central Global Brand budget, as well as the Marketing Operations budget to keep spending on track and efficiently planned

What we are looking for:

  • Marketing Ops management, with experience managing end-to-end campaigns, including large scale new product development and small scale initiatives
  • Understanding of contract negotiations and usage rights for creative media
  • Understanding of web deliverables and standards for marketing campaigns
  • Briefing experience through Asana
  • Localisation experience - Smartling use is preferable
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with prior use of Google Docs, Sheets and Slides advantageous
  • Experience of managing large-scale marketing or team budgets
  • Team management experience

  • 30-minute video call with one of our recruiters

  • 45-60 minute video interview with the team (some positions may require you to complete a task/presentation)
  • For some positions, there may be an additional interview with one of our senior leadership team
