Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Head of Operations and Strategy to join our dynamic team in London. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing our day-to-day operations, optimizing processes, and developing and implementing strategic initiatives to drive growth and efficiency. This is a full-time, hybrid position that requires a deep understanding of the energy industry, experience in operations management, and a strategic mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and optimize day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the organization


• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance overall performance


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business development, product development, and finance, to align efforts and achieve common goals


• Analyze and monitor key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement


• Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices


• Manage and optimize resource allocation, including budgeting, staffing, and technology investments


• Create a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and process optimization


• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams


• Provide leadership and guidance to team members, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (minimum 7 years) in operations management, strategy development, or a related role, preferably within the energy industry


• Strong understanding of the energy market, including trends, regulations, and key players


• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving operational excellence


• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams


• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, startup environment


• Bachelor's degree in business, management, energy, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
