We are partnering with a startup within the delivery space that is looking to hire a Lead front-end Engineer (React Native). You will work with our designers and product managers to quickly articulate and test various hypotheses, and convert winning ideas into scalable tech that will make the platform the industry leader in London and beyond!
Your Goals and Targets for 1st year:
- Become a domain expert in our iOS/Android apps
- Increase quality of quantity of commits pushed to production
- Help your manager grow a mature team of engineers
- Define KPIs for performance inside the app and drive changes across the stack to achieve these KPIs
- Be the voice of Engineering in quarterly/annual planning
Our Expectations:
- At least 5 years professional experience as a front-end developer in a fast fast-paced environment working on a B2C app
- Experience using React Native is essential
- Strong Typescript skills and any Node.js frameworks i.e. Express.js or Koa.js
- Knowledge of GraphQL, Kotlin or / and Swift AWS is a plus point (4+ years of work experience with Node.js)
- Passionate about building fluid user interfaces that delight customers
- Able to operate independently and lead small teams, with little guidance
- Strong written and verbal communication in English
