The Role

We are seeking an intuitive and client focused Account Manager to join the team. This role will be reporting into the EMEA Head of Account Management. This is a customer facing role and is responsible for Account Management functions both retaining and growing revenue through managing growth of existing, innovative proposals for new opportunities and references. No prior experience of the INSTANDA platform is required but exposure to the insurance industry is a requirement. An ideal candidate should have the ability to clearly communicate, be intuitive in understanding client requirements, and be part of a team to deliver the solution our clients need. Our clients face technology and resource constraints which mean that new insurance products and/or offerings could take a long time to launch and be very costly. With INSTANDA however, insurers can build their products, set their distribution networks, test, and launch their products in unprecedented timescales – all without writing a single line of code. The person in this role will ensure our customers can successfully and easily do all these things and more.

This role is UK based, primarily remote working with some travel required to our London Office.

What you will do...

  • Deliver the highest level of Account Management service to our clients.
  • Retain and grow from the existing client accounts, including prospecting, penetrating, and creating new relationships within an existing account.
  • Drive new deal opportunities to closure and ensure appropriate teams have been mobilized to support.
  • Providing oral/written briefs to relevant teams to facilitate a better understanding and appreciation of Client goals and aspirations.
  • Utilize Sales CRM tools to track all pertinent account information and sales progress as well as forecast and prioritize to achieve quarterly quota goals.
  • Track and coordinate all activities occurring for each account.
  • Stay up to date on insurance industry movements and knowledge of competitive product offerings.
  • Resolve service-related issues and handle complaints quickly and effectively.

Client Retention

  • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
  • Ensure all concerns and issues are resolved in a timely manner, liaising with appropriate teams to support.
  • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
  • Prepare regular client reports and organise/attend client meetings including Service Reviews.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly client review meetings.
  • Manage and execute the contract renewal process with clients.

Account Growth

  • Develop account strategies to further to introduce, promote and identify new opportunities within an account.
  • Continually build pipeline opportunity with an account and evaluate how INSTANDA can engage.
  • Propose, Negotiate and Close New Opportunities.

Requirements

What we're looking for...

  • 3-5 years in an Account Management or Client Success role in the Insurance industry and/ or previous experience in a consulting or technical delivery role.
  • Experience selling SAAS or Insurtech or Software solutions.
  • A degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Operational research, Communication & Media, or equivalent degree.
  • Proven track record in developing strategic client account plans and growing revenue.
  • Motivational and Excellent communication skills including Presentation Skills.
  • Consultative approach to Selling.
  • Pragmatic Problem Solving.
  • Having the ability to prioritize tasks as well as multitasking.
  • Have a good understanding of the Underwriting Process and Market Challenges.
  • Taking on task independently and working well within a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication.
