    Skindays bridges that gap by offering customers an online marketplace with a carefully curated selection of brands, personalised recommendations and a “Skincare Coach” customer account. Founded by ecommerce experts with a deep understanding of the market and passion for the product, Skindays launched in June 2022


    Job Description – Social Media & Digital Marketing Coordinator

    Reporting into the CMO, this role oversees all aspects of Social Media and Content Marketing (content, promotions, site enhancements and product). The ideal candidate is a Canva guru, has a creative mind and  genuine passion for the beauty industry. They can win over hearts and minds with creative storytelling. They are able to shift through multiple data sources to find actionable opportunities, and have an aptitude to manage multiple projects. 


    The key objectives of this role would be to generate high quality unique content that can reach a new audience while engaging with our current community. The ultimate goal is to convert & retain customers based on data insights while safeguarding the brand identity. This is the perfect role for someone strategic with an affinity for creativity.

    Key responsibilities for this position


    Social Media (Organic): Content Production & Development:

    • Design and deliver the all-Social content calendar, optimising each moment across all social media channels, developing compelling content & original franchises that create meaningful engagement with our community and help bring our brand to life and grow our following (assets & videos). 
    • Identify new opportunities to promote brand awareness, and encourage audience and community growth. 
    • Daily management and implementation of the editorial calendar 
    • Manage Tik Tok & Meta shops
    • Strategically develop, test and implement social media strategies with the aim of increasing Skindays followers and engagement.
    • Proactively identify any cultural moments & skincare conversations in which Skindays should participate, building brand awareness through culturally relevant, real-time content.
    •  Collaborate closely with our brand partners for special social projects and present ideas. 


    • Supervise assets, copy and content across all channels and platforms and ensure it’s on brand and consistent. Create and upload weekly content to the Skindays Beauty Feed. 
    • Co-create email campaigns visuals such as banners, gifts and templates. 


    • Support with the planning, implementation & promotional activities involved in all offline events such as workshops and pop-ups.

    • 1.5+ years combined work experience in ecommerce, social media and/or brand marketing.
    • You are excited about what we are building at Skindays!
    • Experience in the beauty industry is a plus.
    • Strong understanding of best-in-class digital marketing and ecommerce practices.
    • Experience interfacing with digital marketing content tools such as Canva, Klaviyo and Wordpress. 
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an apt for influencing and storytelling.
