Position Overview:

Esenda is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Full Stack Engineer with experience in Python and Typescript to join our dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in the development, enhancement, and support of our platform, contributing to both frontend and backend components. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate across all projects to design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements for the Esenda platform.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code in Python and Typescript, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Contribute to frontend development using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, ensuring an intuitive and responsive user experience.
• Build and maintain APIs to support seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
• Take ownership of ensuring the quality and reliability of the software through automated testing and code reviews.
• Contribute to product rollout and uptake through providing support to our clients.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or similar in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Solid understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in Python and Typescript, with hands-on industry experience in building web applications and services.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like Vue.js.
• Knowledge of backend frameworks/libraries such as Django, Flask, or similar.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and familiarity with ORM frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to effectively troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Prior experience with payments technology or fintech solutions is a plus, but not required.
