Position Overview:

Are you an experienced healthcare professional with a passion for leveraging innovative technology to enhance therapeutic interventions and improve patient outcomes? Join us as a Chief Medical Officer at Maxim VR and play a pivotal role in leading our clinical operations, driving the development of therapeutic features on our VR platform, and overseeing clinical trials in partnership with leading hospitals and research institutions. Key Responsibilities:

1. Clinical Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for clinical services within our therapeutic VR startup, with a focus on developing evidence-based therapeutic interventions and protocols leveraging virtual reality technology. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with clinical objectives and regulatory requirements.
2. Therapeutic VR Development: Lead the development and implementation of therapeutic features and applications on our VR platform, working closely with software engineers, designers, and clinicians to design immersive and effective therapeutic experiences. Drive innovation in therapeutic content creation and user experience design.
3. Clinical Trials Management: Oversee clinical trials and research studies in collaboration with partner hospitals, academic institutions, and healthcare organizations. Design and execute clinical trial protocols, recruit participants, collect data, and analyze outcomes to evaluate the efficacy and safety of our therapeutic VR interventions.
4. Quality Improvement: Establish and maintain quality assurance processes and performance improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care through our VR platform. Monitor clinical metrics, outcomes, and patient feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
5. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including clinicians, researchers, engineers, and product managers, to integrate clinical insights and feedback into the development and enhancement of our therapeutic VR solutions. Foster a culture of interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge sharing.
6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, ethical guidelines, and best practices in clinical research and healthcare delivery. Stay abreast of relevant regulations and industry developments to mitigate risks and maintain compliance in clinical operations.

Requirements:

1. Education: Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Clinical licensure is preferred.
2. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical leadership roles, with a strong background in healthcare innovation, digital health, or therapeutic interventions. Experience in clinical research, particularly in virtual reality or digital therapeutics, is highly desirable.
3. Therapeutic Expertise: Deep understanding of therapeutic principles and modalities, with a demonstrated interest in leveraging technology, particularly virtual reality, to enhance therapeutic interventions and patient care outcomes.
4. Research Skills: Strong research design and methodology skills, with experience in designing and conducting clinical trials, research studies, or program evaluations. Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods is advantageous.
5. Leadership Abilities: Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate multidisciplinary teams, drive innovation, and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
6. Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex clinical concepts and research findings to diverse stakeholders, including clinicians, researchers, engineers, and executives.
