Sales Development Representative at Allocator

The Role:

As a London-based Sales Development Representative, you'll play a key role in prospecting new business and generating new business pipelines with accounts of all sizes across the Americas, EMEA and APAC!

 

You will be the spearhead of our efforts to increase revenues through new client/logo acquisition i.e. new business sales.

 

This is a highly visible role that makes a direct and significant impact on our business. We think of SDRs as the true rockstars of our Sales function. As one of those rockstars, you will:

 

  • Manage your own book of accounts and set the account strategy for researching and prospecting them
  • Book demos/meetings with prospective clients for the Account Executives through channels such as cold calling, personalized cold emailing, and LinkedIn outreach, plus other avenues like video prospecting, events and direct mail
  • Uncover needs beyond what may have been initially obvious to the prospect by asking thought-provoking questions
  • Be passionate in your efforts to master the role of an enterprise Sales Development Representative; constantly seeking feedback on how to improve your effectiveness and efficiency from your peers, Yavor (Sales Development Team Lead), the Account Executives, and finally Will (Head of Sales), Liam (COO) and Ryan (CEO) who all rotate as 1-2-1 buddies on a weekly basis with SDRs.

Will Broadway - Head of Sales

Will is in charge of Allocator's go-to-market strategy across Marketing, Sales Development, and Sales.

 

He spends each day figuring out the best way to spread Allocator's message throughout the world's institutional investor community.

 

For almost 9 years he has worked with either alternative asset managers or their investors. He gets out of bed every morning for the same reasons now as he did in 2015; despite the trillions being managed within this market, there is still a huge asymmetry of information. Despite investors being the customers, they are rarely treated that way, and it is time that changed!

 

Approximately 70% of the assets managed by institutional investors and allocated to alternative fund managers are the pensions or life insurance policies of the 99%, not the 1%. His mission is to ensure asset allocators have the tools necessary to deliver 99% of the best possible investment outcomes in turbulent markets, safeguarding retirements and families' futures, which is where Allocator comes in.

 

That passion for our market is coupled with a love of selling. In the past people thought of software developers as scientists and salespeople as artists.
