  • Who We Are:

We are Batch LDN. A made-to-order clothing brand rewriting the way we consume fashion. Our collections are exclusively manufactured using our ‘Batch Model’. An exclusively handmade-to-order method - producing only what’s necessary.

It’s a simple premise, if you only make exactly what you need, you cut out all of the waste and overproduction. A slower, more conscious method of manufacture.

As we don’t have to account for the normal fashion mark-up - it allows us to sell high end luxury pieces, at prices you can actually justify.

Our garments are designed with versatility at the core, being as easy to dress up as they are to dress down. Solving the “what to wear when you want to look good conundrum”.

Think of Batch as the backbone of your wardrobe. The forever favourites. Luxurious, versatile pieces that are fitting for all the big occasions in life.

    Our Unique Proposition:

Batch is on the look for a Product & Design Executive to work in tandem with the co-founders. We’re hunting for the right person to recruit into our inner circle, who will add value from day one, but also be part of our long term vision to become the go-to made-to-order brand in the world.

We currently have a key focus on casual suiting for both men and women, but as aforementioned we’re looking to be the go to made-to-order brand globally and with this comes growing our product range. We recently released two shirt and trouser sets with our Spring/Summer collection, and have plans to move into overcoats, wool blend suits, winter shirts and skirt suits this A/W.

The role would be to support and in some areas lead on all things product and design across the whole supply chain. However like in all start-ups it wouldn’t be limited to this and there would be inclusion across all areas of the business as well as an expectation to support in and around the shop.

There is lots of room for growth in this role and we’re looking for a candidate who also has high growth potential to develop through the roles ultimately into Head of Product, and be at the forefront of supporting the founders in building out and strategising our ambitious expansion strategy.

The exact specifics around remuneration will depend on the candidate's level of experience and suitability for the role and our team. Fashion design experience and/or a design accreditation will be a strong consideration, but not the deciding factor. We are hiring based on potential, ambition and cultural fit.

We’re currently operating from a short term let in Spitalfields Market, but are soon to be moving to a flagship store in Covent Garden.

We’re calling it The Batch Members Club and it will be the heart of the business with a cafe, bar, live dj vinyl set up, bespoke private fitting rooms, etc.

We’re energetic, flexible, highly ambitious and super excited to hear from you. As we’re a small team growing quite quickly, the job will be very hands on, fast paced, varied and intense. We’re looking for people that thrive in this environment. Note: Applications through instant apply won’t be considered.

    The Job’s Responsibilities:

    1. Responsible for ideating and moodboarding new collections and product releases presented to the team in clear and concise presentations.
    2. Once signed off you’ll be responsible for the design and tech packing of our new product pipeline.
    3. Development and improvement of our existing range; including looking at ways to make our ranges more inclusive.
    4. You’ll oversee reporting to the founders of current materials and trim stockholding and liaise with the team if you foresee any issues or shortfalls.
    5. You’ll build a strong relationship with our factory and assist us in being a key point of contact.
    6. You’ll become an expert on our product range, engaging with shoppers to answer queries, give advice and share inspiration. You’ll familiarise yourself with the brand story and deliver consistently on brand guidelines.
    7. Collection of completed garments from the factory, and then organising into the correct order ready for delivery or collection by customers.
    8. Liaise with our delivery partners for final shipments to customers.
    9. Our roles are highly flexible, however there will be a requirement to work 2-3 weekend days/month, always with days granted in lieu, i.e. not in addition to the 5 day working week.

    Who we're looking for:

    1. A fashion design degree or 2+ years working in fashion design.
    2. A highly ambitious, hard working self-starter that is motivated by an opportunity to be part of a fast growth business with exciting potential.
    3. A positive persona, with strong sales skills.
    4. You’d describe yourself as having “an eye for detail”; this role requires someone who rarely misses things and has strong organisational skills.
    5. You’re not afraid of grafting. You’ll need to be ready to step into a start-up environment and capable of soaking up fast paced days that don’t always go to plan.
    6. You’re ambitious and always seeking opportunity.
    7. A keen interest in fashion and a strong eye for detail.

What it’s like to work at Batch:

    1. Competitive salary, with performance incentives including equity.
    2. You’ll have creative freedom where there’s no such thing as a bad idea
    3. You’ll be part of a small team in the early days of our business journey, so you’ll really have the ability to make your mark, and grow within the company.
    4. You’ll receive regular Batch products on us as well as a styling allowance.
    5. You’ll get 25 days holiday per year.
    6. You’ll get free coffee, snacks and drinks from our bar.
