We are looking for an exceptional Senior Product Manager to join our team. Within Freetrade’s Tech organisation, product and engineering operate within cross-functional engineering, product, and design teams, each focused on missions that drive our growth.

This role is as the product manager for our team who own trading experience and infrastructure. This team drives value for our customers and growth for Freetrade by enabling customers to trade as they need and in the instruments they need to achieve their financial goals. They also own the infrastructure and order routing / management that sits behind our trading experience ensuring that trades succeed and are placed according to best execution.

As the Product Manager of the team you will identify opportunities for improving our service with customers, help build conviction and drive technical execution in the roadmap using data and feedback, shape these technical opportunities and manage technical delivery with your engineering team. As a thought leader in your domain, you will influence strategic decisions, inspire your team, and help shape the future of retail investing at Freetrade.

You will:

• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes: Alongside your engineering manager, lead a cross functional team in identifying, scoping, shipping and supporting high impact technical changes for our customers in your owned domain(s).
• You will be responsible with working with all the other functions in Freetrade to ensure the products we bring to market are compliant, supportable and scalable.
• Develop a compelling product roadmap: Your deep expertise in your own domain will help you identify transformative opportunities to improve and scale our product.
• Partner with senior leadership to develop product roadmaps that align with business goals. Ruthlessly prioritize high-impact initiatives, balancing short-term targets and long-term growth.
• Become an expert on our customers: You’ll deeply understand our customers, segments and their needs. Your customer understanding will drive great outcomes.
• Focus on outcomes based upon data: You will help the teams sort opportunities from noise. You will quantify the return on investment from our opportunities and make sure we meet it. You will ensure you and your team build and focus on metrics showing our products are working.
• Inspire: You’ll inspire both your team and the company, getting buy-in to the team's projects and your roadmap and fostering a creative environment of shared ideas.
• Manage technical product lifecycle: Oversee all stages of product development, from concept to launch, ensuring on-time, high-quality product delivery.
• Set the experience quality bar: Product experience is a key differentiator for Freetrade - you will work with your designers and engineers to ensure we deliver inspirational experiences and keep raising the bar.
• Continually improve: Be the key driver within your team and function to make sure we continually improve.
• Drive and own technical product execution and delivery

About you:

• Experienced: You have at least 5-7 years of experience in a tech environment, with at least 3 of those years within product management leading cross-functional teams
• Proven Track Record: You have a history of successfully shipping complex, high-impact technical products, managing the entire product cycle from inception to support.
• Thought Leader: You have deep knowledge in the domains you lead and your natural curiosity drives you to keep learning and stay on top of industry trends and innovations.
• Hands-On: Product management is not just a support role at Freetrade - we expect our product managers to actively participate in the work of their teams and contribute to team deliverables from a technical execution
• Technical strength: Our product infrastructure is a particularly complex domain - you have a strong grasp of technology and actively participate in engineering discussions, guiding engineers between different solution approaches and understand in depth how your system works.
• Adaptable: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with rapid change and uncertainty. Freetrade is a fast-scaling disruptor and your ability to swiftly discern opportunities and prioritize tasks is key.
• Excellent Communicator: You can break down complex topics into clear, actionable steps and align everyone around them. This is particularly crucial when working across many different departments and professions. You are comfortable and experienced in communicating within your team, with stakeholders, and with the wider company.
