About the role

Deel is one of the fastest SaaS companies ever to reach 100M revenue, and is far along the way to become the fastest company to $1B revenue. Driven by an enormous market, and high speed of innovation, Deel has expanded their product suite and customer base by many orders of magnitude in the last few years. As an Analytics Engineer for Marketing, you will collaborate closely with our Analytics Engineering team and key stakeholders in marketing teams across the globe, driving the right decisions within this key function.

Responsibilities

• As part of our GTM Data team, you collaborate closely with Marketing Analysts, Analytics Engineers, Digital Analytics Managers as well as the Sales Operations team and Customer Success team to develop our infrastructure

• You’ll work closely with senior marketing and growth stakeholders

• You will own the quality of our marketing performance, forecasting data models and reporting infrastructure. . This is built upon internal data and 3rd party tooling data (Salesforce, Hubspot, Facebook, etc.)

• Create robust documentation to drive awareness and standardize marketing analytics terminology

• You’ll drive data integrations into GTM tools, like Braze and Salesforce to ensure our data is provided in the right format and in the most convenient location

• Build clean, highly scalable marketing data models in Snowflake, using dbt

• You’ll own the definition, quality and reliability for key Marketing metrics, like Cost of Acquisition and Marketing ROI

• Working closely with analytics engineering, you’ll help evolve our dbt model infrastructure

• You’ll collaborate closely with our data science teams to build forecasting/predictive models

Requirements:

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Math, Economics, CS, or another STEM field

• You have at least 5 years experience in an analytical role, of which 2 in an analytics engineering position

• You have experience with commercial domains, like Sales, Marketing or Customer Success.

• Expert in SQL

• You have a proficiency in an object-oriented programming language, like Python.

• Experience in DBT (ideally 1+ year) and data modeling and metrics design

• Experience designing and implementing a data warehouse and modern BI architecture

• Experience with version control tools (GitHub, GitLab)

• You’re an excellent communicator, you know how to tell simple, but compelling stories with data

• You work well with people across the spectrum
