  • About the Role

    • This role is perfect for someone with experience managing educational programmes and events who wants to move closer to the managerial or operational side over time. This individual should be early in their career, confident in their abilities, full of ideas, and eager to make their mark quickly. Significant responsibility will be given from the start, paving the way to a leadership position and fast progression.
    • Programme Management at Encode Club, an Emerging Tech developer education company, focuses on three key aspects: operational management of programmes, participant engagement, and partner/client relations. Our programmes include bootcamps, hackathons, accelerators, hacker houses, conferences, and educational series, all aimed at achieving a high completion rate and satisfaction for both Encode and our partners.
    • This role is public-facing and involves engaging with participants, partners, and presenting publicly on a daily basis. It requires a highly sociable person.
    • A successful Senior Programme Manager should expect to manage major clients, specialise in certain types of programmes, and oversee other Programme Managers.
    • You will work directly with our Head of Operations, other Programme Managers, and the Programme Operations team within a small, collaborative team of 20, with the Programme team being the largest (learn more about Encode here). We work in our London office three days a week.
