Compliance Advisory Specialist at Chip

  • What you can expect to be doing:

    • Review financial promotions, providing education and training to the business towards continuous improvement. Working to regulatory requirements to review, challenge (as necessary) and approve app, website copy and marketing material falling within the definition of Financial Promotions ensuring we are Fair, Clear and Not Misleading.
    • Provide product specific advice, guidance as well as independent challenge and oversight to 1LOD business teams.
    • Gathering MI, taking minutes and managing stakeholders for Chip’s monthly Consumer Outcomes Committee
    • Reviewing and updating policies as part of our governance Risk & Compliance Committee
    • Overseeing all UK regulatory reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submission of reports to the FCA (PSD2 & MiFID II)
    • Build strong relationships with 1LoD to deliver a collaborative working environment between Compliance and the business.

    What we’re looking for:

    • Must have good experience of Financial Promotions signoff
    • A thorough understanding of the Financial Services regulatory framework that exists in the UK
    • Deep working knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and industry best practices related of compliance and financial services
    • Previous experience in a financial services Compliance role, in particular Payment Services and Investments
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Attention to detail and organisational skills.
    • Competence in planning and conducting of monitoring/assurance reviews.
    • A Compliance qualification (desirable).
