We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to support the daily operations of our Redditch facility. The ideal candidate will have a background in warehouse or factory production, with a strong emphasis on performance monitoring and reporting to ensure we hit our service levels and in line with the budget set. Ideally someone with previous food safety knowledge and health & safety standards. This role requires a proactive leader with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team to ensure service levels are met and errors are minimised.

Working schedule: Tuesday - Saturday

1. **Operational Management:**

• Oversee daily operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.

• Ensure service levels are consistently met and maintain error rates below target levels.

• Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.

2. **Team Leadership:**

• Lead, mentor, and motivate the production team to achieve performance targets.

• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.

3. **Problem Solving and Support:**

• Address operational issues promptly and develop effective solutions.

• Support the wider team with problem-solving and decision-making.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement.

• Support the team in carrying out ‘root cause analysis’

4. **Attention to Detail:**

• Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of operations.

• Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations

• Conduct regular GMP audits to ensure operational standards are upheld.

5. **Communication:**

• Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external stakeholders.

• Provide clear and concise reports on operational performance and issues.

• Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss goals, progress, and challenges.

The right profile for this role will have the following attributes:

• Proven experience in warehouse or factory production, preferably in the food industry.

• Strong knowledge of food safety and health & safety regulations.
