    You love the challenge of sales or setting up partnerships and love it even more when dealing with the challenge of doing so with councils.

    However, in this role, you’ll have the benefit of pushing on a relatively open door as there is £0 cost to the council and we’re helping them hit their legally binding NetZero targets. So, it’s win, win, win.

    A win for the council(NetZero), a win for their residents(great solar install) and a win for us(more customers).

    A couple of our partners are Nationwide Building Society, Santander and Cotswold Council. So we know it works and we want someone who will love the challenge of massively ramping up our partnerships.

    We’re on a mission to demystify the energy market for households. So that they can easily make their homes greener with confidence.

    More and more households want to make their house green and are getting frustrated with trying to work out if solar panels, a heat pump or insulation are right for them. So, we’ve developed our market-first MakeMyHouseGreen platform to solve that and help make houses green!

    The journey has been awesome so far and what's to come is shaping up to be even better. We’re looking for someone to join the team, join the journey and share in the success as we continue to grow.

     

    Key responsibilities and areas of ownership

    • Getting new Council partnerships live for them to promote solar to their residents.
    • Converting councils from initial conversation through to a live partnerships
    • Using and building your network to get introductions for new partners.
    • Owning and improving our partnership sales and setup processes to get more live
    • Day to day meetings, emails and phone calls to progress partner conversations
    • Providing additional information & answering questions for potential partners
    • Owning the partnerships CRM and staying on top of all follow up and actions

     

    Requirements and Skillset

    • Solid experience successfully selling or setting up partnerships with councils or other governmental organisations
    • Experienced and capable of delivering results in long cycle sales environments.
    • Highly motivated self-starter who will hustle to get results
    • Focussed on the end goal and motivated by trying to get there.
