**Job Title: Product Manager**

**Company Overview:**
MICard is a family office and venture capital backed startup based in Cambridge, UK, but open to remote working.

We are focused on making data work for individuals and businesses, driving better experiences, personalisation and value. We are innovating to bring an OpenBanking style level of disruption to the wellness space. We're growing and now is your chance to work with a founding team of exited tech entrepreneurs (2 IPOs and 6 trade sales) and make your mark in leading on product.

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, a strong commercial focus, and the ability to envision the future evolution of our product. They will play a critical role in driving the success of our product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals, and delivering value to our customers.

**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Strategic Planning:** Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the company's overall vision and goals. Identify market opportunities, define product goals, and prioritize initiatives to drive growth and profitability.

2. **Market Analysis:** Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends. Use insights to inform product decisions and identify opportunities for innovation.

3. **Product Roadmap:** Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize features and enhancements for the product roadmap. Ensure alignment with business objectives, customer requirements, and technical feasibility.

4. **Commercial Focus:** Drive product initiatives with a commercial mindset, focusing on revenue generation, customer acquisition, and retention. Develop pricing strategies, packaging options, and go-to-market plans to maximize product success.

5. **Product Development:** Work closely with engineering, design, and QA teams to oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle. Provide clear direction, feedback, and support to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

6. **Customer Feedback:** Gather and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and market data to iterate on product features and improve user experience. Champion the voice of the customer throughout the product development process.

7. **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Collaborate effectively with sales, marketing, customer success, and other team members to drive product adoption, success and to ensure alignment and coordination.

8. **Continuous Improvement:** Monitor key performance metrics and analytics to track product performance and identify areas for improvement. Implement iterative improvements and optimizations to enhance product value and user satisfaction.

**Key Product and Project Management Software Requirements:**

1. **Product Management Tools:** Proficiency in using product management software such as Notion, Jira, Asana, or Trello to manage product backlogs, prioritize tasks, and track progress. 

2. **Analytics Platforms:** Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude to gather insights into user behavior, measure product performance, and inform decision-making.

3. **Collaboration Tools:** Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams using communication and collaboration tools such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom. Experience with document sharing platforms like Google Drive or Microsoft Office 365 is essential for seamless collaboration.

4. **Prototyping and Design Tools:** Basic understanding of prototyping and design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new features and enhancements.

5. **Version Control Systems:** Knowledge of version control systems like Git or SVN for managing code repositories and facilitating collaboration among development teams.

6. **Project Management Methodologies:** Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban for iterative product development and project management. Certification in Agile or Scrum is a plus.

7. **Requirements Management:** Ability to document and manage product requirements using tools like Confluence, Microsoft Word, or Google Docs. Proficiency in creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications is essential for effective requirement management.

8. **Roadmapping Tools:** Experience with roadmap planning tools such as Aha! or ProductPlan to create and communicate product roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and align stakeholders around strategic objectives.

9. **Feedback and Customer Engagement Tools:** Familiarity with feedback and customer engagement tools such as UserVoice, Zendesk, or Intercom to gather customer feedback, track feature requests, and engage with users to understand their needs and pain points.

10. **Integration Capabilities:** Understanding of integration capabilities with other systems and tools commonly used in the organization, such as CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, or customer support software.

Proficiency in these software tools and platforms will enable the Product Manager to effectively manage product development processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, gather and analyze data, and drive the success of the product roadmap.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in a technology company.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Commercial acumen and experience driving revenue growth through product innovation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and product management tools.
- Passion for technology and a deep understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies.
