Quantexa is therefore looking for highly motivated professional to lead our sales activities for the Insurance Team. As Sales-Player Manager of the Insurance Team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the geographically dispersed Sales Directors, executing the sales go-to-market strategy, identifying new opportunities, building our pipeline, winning new deals, and meeting company targets.

What you’ll be doing.

  • Typical responsibilities include: Working with our EMEA Regional Vice-President, Industry Lead and solution owners to define and execute the sales strategy and go-to-market plan for the Insurance Team
  • Consistently delivering against sales targets; contributing to the overall growth of the business.
  • Our clients are International and our staff are expected to react to demanding client needs and agendas, so this role can be based either in the UK or in any European country.

Requirements

What you’ll bring.

  • A good understanding of Insurance sector issues and the ability to  ‘educate and solutionise’ with customer
  • A good understanding of an Insurer operational and buying processes
  • Extensive experience in solution selling within the Insurance sector across the EMEA region
  • Determination to succeed in challenging circumstances
  • Ability to lead and grow effective sales teams
  • The ability to be an independent decision-maker but equally is inclusive when evaluating options
  • Ambitious and energetic with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong commercial and entrepreneurial qualities
  • Good team player, capable of delivering results in less than perfect circumstances
  • Ability to spot market changes, flagging these early and reacting effectively and positively
  • Ability to plan for the future
  • Can perform effectively in complex and difficult environments
  • Can achieve success through others
  • Optimistic in outlook and can identify opportunities

Desirable:

  • Previous experience of selling Fincrime solutions, Fraud solutions and Data heavy products within the insurance sector
