  • About Us

Tom's Studio is a contemporary stationery brand dedicated to crafting joyful, thoughtful, and sustainably-minded products. Founded by Tom, who, for the first 5 years, handcrafted pens from creatively curated materials using an array of techniques and equipment that would make Willy Wonka proud. In the last few years, he has developed a range of beautiful tools and stationery that use the latest manufacturing processes and materials, which we sell to a global audience of wonderful, conscientious creators. As of 2024, the business is undergoing exciting growth, with plans to bring joyous stationery to even more desks and artists' studios worldwide. We are tackling unsustainable stationery with beautiful, innovative and infinitely refillable pens and creative tools.

To achieve this vision, we are seeking like-minded individuals to join us as we grow and to help us deliver world-class creative excellence to folk around the world. This is a chance to join an early stage start-up and be part of the refill-ution.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a creative startup and work with a small team of product, brand, ecommerce and direct-to-consumer experts to help build a company we can all be proud of. You will roll your sleeves up and dive in to manage our Shopify store, email marketing, ambassador programme and marketplaces. This is a chance to carve out your space in the business and you will get time and support to propose and pursue your ideas. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a solid foundation in ecommerce, shopify and digital marketing paired with problem solving skills and a desire to learn. You will enjoy balancing data and an understanding of the customer to create and prove hypotheses. Above all you are hands on and a doer.

    • Manage email flows and campaigns through Klaviyo, working closely with the brand and content team to ensure delivery of the marketing calendar.
    • Analyse site performance data, digital marketing data, online customer behaviour metrics, and market trends to identify areas for improvement. Action improvements in these areas.
    • Manage our ambassador programme through Shopify Collabs.
    • Identify opportunities to drive improvements in different geographies using Shopify markets.
    • Report on performance and represent your area of responsibility within the business.

    About you

    • You have 3+ years hands-on experience managing e-commerce sites with good Shopify knowledge and a desire to learn more about the platform.

    • You have an eye for detail and maintain a tidy and accurate product catalogue
    • You are a natural problem solver who enjoys working out how to tie different technologies together to create solutions.
    • You enjoy working with others to build and deliver a marketing calendar.
    • You put the customer first and love creating an engaging brand experience.
    • You use data to identify opportunities and back up decisions but not at the expense of delivering a product and brand you can be proud of.
    • You have excellent communication skills and like to contribute in group sessions and meetings.
    • You have an understanding of digital marketing strategies, web analytics and social media platforms.
    • You understand and appreciate commercial decision making.
