Events Marketing Manager at Skin Analytics

We are looking for a passionate Events Marketing Manager to join our small but mighty marketing team! This role will focus on strategic planning and execution of events and outbound marketing campaigns to deliver highly valued events for NHS decision-makers and clinicians. The successful candidate will be responsible for all ‘events’ and will seek out opportunities to communicate the brand’s message, educate and engage key audiences and deliver top-of-the-funnel leads, necessary to fuel Skin Analytics’ growth within the NHS. Helping us establish ourselves as the leading dermatology AI company in the UK.

Skin Analytics is an award-winning digital health company that launched the world’s first AI-supported Skin Cancer pathway for a faster diagnosis of skin cancer. Our AI as a Medical Device (AIaMD) is deployed in 13 NHS organisations, and growing. We are leading the way in leveraging AI technology to address the demand and capacity crisis facing Dermatology safely.

The Role

In this role, you are part of a highly driven marketing team that works cross-functionally to gather expertise and insight. You will have the ability to shape the future of marketing at Skin Analytics as well as make your mark on ensuring Skin Analytics is seen as the leading dermatology AI company in the UK (for now!). This role reports to Faye Pendall, Head of Marketing who is now looking for an experienced and versatile events and outbound marketer to support and deliver against strategic marketing objectives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Owning the events strategy (external and internal including conferences, webinars and in-house events) for the UK NHS market, with the potential to extend to new markets as we grow
  2. Researching and delivering excellence at events, including process, stakeholder briefings, demand and lead generation, follow-up and metrics/reporting, considering pre to post-event activities
  3. Managing vendor, organiser and attendee relationships with confidence and representing the Skin Analytics brand
  4. Developing content that will engage key audiences, working with subject experts and engaging with senior stakeholders to ensure key messages land and influence
  5. Implementing integrated campaigns that drive quality leads for the business development team, supporting future pipelines and lead nurturing
  6. Measuring success and optimising based on results, insights and best practices, and pushing boundaries to stand out
  7. Supporting ad-hoc marketing requirements, to ensure the business is supported from a marketing and communications perspective.
  8. Delivering events within an agreed budget

What is next for you?

If you do well, and when the business grows, this role can take you to various places. After 2 - 3 years you could move into a Lead Marketing role or head up a marketing specialist team.

Requirements

​Required Skills;

  • Experienced in an events marketing role ideally within the NHS/digital healthcare or with marketing experience across event management, outbound marketing, digital/email marketing and content creation in B2B
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with and influence a range of internal and external stakeholders/speakers
  • Demonstrable experience in generating high-quality leads
  • Integrated campaign management with insight into driving seamless CX and value for attendees
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms (CRM, email, CMS, analytics) to manage the customer journey in a GDPR-compliant environment
  • Experience of event management tools and platforms (e.g. Eventbrite, WebEx)
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver under pressure

​Nice to have;

  • ​Experience in the NHS/healthcare or HealthTech space however not a problem if you don't, you can soon ramp up!
  • Understanding of the NHS structure, challenges and decision-makers
  • Events budget management
  • Experience in content creation/ (e.g. Adobe, Canva, Figma, WordPress etc)
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced startup/scaleup
