You’d be joining a team of over 150 passionate, ambitious people, across Europe and the USA, building a category-leading fintech product and all united by that same mission.

The Opportunity:

As Wagestream expands into neobank territory you will lead multiple core functions crucial to our success, collaborating with the Director of Customer Support, overseeing business operations and their respective teams, totalling over 20 professionals and counting.

What will you be doing?

• Oversee first-line operations related to consumer credit lending and earned wage access, including customer support, statutory notices, card-related issues, and compliance with KYC and KYB regulations.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources while ensuring full compliance with KYC and KYB standards.
• Manage corporate credit risk, ensuring all operations comply with regulatory standards and internal risk management practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data and feedback to enhance operational processes and customer satisfaction.
• Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous learning within the operations teams.

What experience might you have?

• Proven experience in a senior operations role.
• Experience with consumer credit lending is essential.
• Strong leadership skills duelled with a track record of managing and motivating successful teams.
• In-depth understanding of operational processes, regulatory compliance, and risk management in the financial services industry.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with all levels of the organisation and external partners.
• Analytical thinker with the ability to troubleshoot issues, analyse data, and drive operational excellence.

Salary: Dependant on experience. Starting from £100,000 + bonus & stocks
