In the UK, we now have over 1.6m registered users, offering a range of products like the Freetrade Pension, a stocks and shares ISA, and our premium plan, Freetrade Plus.
We are looking for an exceptional Pension Operations Specialist to join our team. You will work within the Brokerage Operations function where you will perform day to day operational processes as well as implement process improvements and automations. .
You will...

• Have the opportunity to bring a wealth of knowledge around the Pensions space
• Work with multiple teams including: Trading, Settlements, Payments, Corporate actions, Tax and Freetrade’s third party Pension administrator.
• Be the Subject Matter Expert on all things pension related
• Be able to advise our product team on what more we can offer to make our SIPP product better.
• Provide end-to-end administration services including onboarding, transfers, calculations, valuations, benefit calculations, retirements and general servicing.
• Provide technical support to our Customer Operations team to help answer client queries.
• Lead and take ownership of the relationship between Freetrade and their Pension Administrator.
• Define and monitor the division of responsibilities between Freetrade and our Pension Administrator.
• Ensure compliance of the Freetrade product with all SIPP related obligations such as Stock eligibility and Due Diligence ect.
• Help drive / define long term pension administration arrangements and strategy
• Define and improve processes within the team that don’t always require engineering effort.
• Able to be self sufficient on queries and processes around Pensions
• Review all processes and controls with the pensions team for accuracy.

You have...

• You are passionate about our product and the opportunity to innovate and modernise the world of pensions with a customer-focused and tech-centric approach.
• You have at least 5+ years of working within SIPPs and pension transfers and understand the relevant rules, regulations and reporting requirements.

• You are used to working with a high level of independence and thrive in a fast-paced working environment where you can act on and share ideas.

• Brokerage experience along with the IOC qualification is beneficial however it is not mandatory.

You will initially have a quick interview with one of our internal Talent Specialists and after that meeting the Hiring Manager for the role. Followed by a Culture Values Interview to check on your culture fit. Closing the process with an Executive Interview with our Founders (CEO and COO).
